Company Background

China Resources Cement Holdings Limited (“CR Cement”) was incorporated on 13 March 2003 in the Cayman Islands as an exempted company with limited liability under The Companies Law of the Cayman Islands and is the holding company of all the cement and concrete operations of the China Resources Group. The Company was listed on the main board of the Stock Exchange on 6 October 2009 by way of a global offering. The total number of issued shares of the Company was 6,982,937,817 shares, of which China Resources Group is holding approximately 68.72% of the issued shares of the Company.

Business Activities

Relying on its unique resources distribution advantage and vertically integrated business model for cement and ready-mixed concrete, CR Cement is dedicated to establishing three key capabilities “lowest total costs, leading position in the regional market, innovation-driven development”. CR Cement has become the largest and most competitive cement, clinker and concrete producer in Southern China, with the nationwide unified brand “Runfeng Cement”, gaining an important position in the cement industry in China.
The operation of the Company covers Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Hainan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Hong Kong and Macau. As of 31 Dec 2019, through subsidiaries and equity interests in certain associates and joint ventures, CR Cement has annual capacity of 72.9 million tons of clinker, 105 million tons of cement and 41.3 million m3 of concrete respectively, making us a national leader in cement and concrete capacity.
