Company Background

Wong Tung & Partners was established in Hong Kong in 1963 and has been practicing under the name Wong Tung & Partners Limited since 1984. An international extension, Wong & Tung International Limited, was formed in 1975. The Group is now represented by offices in the major cities of the PRC.

The Group has a total strength of about 250 professional and support staff in Hong Kong with another 150 staff in PRC, with strong specialties in:

- Urban Design and Planning;
- Large Scale Residential Communities;
- Mixed Use Commercial Complexes;
- Healthcare;
- Retail Centers;
- Hotels;
- Hi-Tech Industrial Estates.

In the 1970's and 1980's the firm diversified its activities throughout Southeast Asia and has, through local alliances completed hotel and commercial projects in Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan and Myanmar. Wong Tung & Partners Limited is certified to ISO9001 by HKQAA since 1996.

Business Activities

The Group is based in Hong Kong and is structured to provide a broad base of planning, architectural design services which have contributed to a successful completion of major projects throughout the Asia-Pacific, China, South East Asia, the United States and the Middle East.

In providing comprehensive services from initial research and land assessment through design, construction and final inspection, the practice is in a position to meet both the client's needs and the project's requirements. The group's multi-disciplined and specialist personnel can also develop and produce solutions for virtually any type of development requested by the client.

The Group is active in China since 1978 and has established representative offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chongqing, a wholly own subsidiary, Wong Tung & Partners (Shenzhen) Ltd in 1993. A joint venture Class A design office, Zhong Tian Wong Tung International Engineering Design Consultants Co Ltd, was opened in Beijing in March 1996.
