SME Financing Guarantee Scheme – Special 100% Loan Guarantee

Eligible Enterprises
|
Local enterprises of all sectors affected by the coronavirus outbreak, such as retail outlets, travel agents, restaurants, cinemas, karaoke establishments and transport operators, etc

Application Requirements
|
- Business operation for at least 3 months by end December 2019
- Suffered at least a 30% decline in sales turnover in any month since February 2020 compared with the monthly average of any quarter in 2019
|
|
Loan Amount
|
Up to the total amount of employee wages and rents for 6 months or HKD 2 million, whichever is the lower
|
|
Interest Rate
|
Hong Kong Prime Rate minus 2.5% p.a. as specified by the Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Ltd (currently at 2.75% p.a.)
|
|
Repayment Period
|
Up to 36 months, with an option of principal moratorium of up to 6 months from the drawdown of the loans
|
|
Launch Date
|
Subject to Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Insurance Ltd official announcement

|
6 months starting from the launch of the product

|

Document Required
|
- Proof of business operation for at least 3 months by end of December 2019
(include latest copy of Business Registration / Certificate of Incorporation)
- Copy of identity proof of business owner or major shareholders
- Proof of the business suffered at least a 30% decline in sales turnover in any month since February 2020 compared with the monthly average of any quarter in 2019
- Proof of employee payroll and enterprise’s rental payment record
