As globalization and digitalization become more widespread and evolve rapidly, enterprise services are also transforming at a speedy pace. In fact, many businesses, big and small, are already deploying diverse and complex cloud applications in their operations. Meanwhile, under the Outline Development Plan for the Greater Bay Area (GBA), enormous opportunities are arising for Hong Kong companies to broaden their presence or set up operations in the GBA.

To seize the opportunities in the GBA and stand out among competitors, digital transformation is essential. It helps companies to succeed through simplifying collaboration processes and enhancing operation efficiency. To learn more, the Chamber has arranged a roundtable luncheon on 11 October with experts from Deloitte and Hong Kong Telecom (HKT). Two speakers will discuss how businesses can leverage on innovation and intelligence to facilitate corporate development, and use agile network management and comprehensive integrated solutions. They will also provide their insights on potential cyber threats and discuss cybersecurity architecture development within the special environment of the GBA.

After the roundtable luncheon, members will visit the advanced network and security monitoring facilities at HKT's Network Operating Centre and Next Generation Security Operation Centre nearby.

Next Generation Security Operation Center
At the Integrated Security Operation Centre, HKT's local information security experts -- who are certified by international organizations -- provide customers with monitoring, protection, alert escalation and emergency responses on a 24/7 basis. The system issues alerts on information security in a timely manner and produces exclusive reports to enable companies to fully understand risks related to information security. In the event of any information security incident, the technical experts can track and stop malware from spreading at an early stage, and assist enterprises in protecting their important data.

HKT Network Operating Center
The NOC employs advanced systems to continually monitor end-to-end network performance, right down to the individual component level, 24 hours a day. The main NOC, exchanges and data centre are manned by qualified engineering professionals to provide first line support, backed by a team of network and system experts.

Notes - Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of payment, on a first come first served basis.
- Booking transfer is allowed for corporate members with advanced notice, walk-ins are normally not accepted.
- The Chamber reserves the right to decline any booking or cancel the event. In such case, a full refund of the participation fee will be issued.
- No refund will be made for last minute cancellations or no-shows. If the booking is cancelled at least 3 days before the event, and in such cases the refund will be subjected to a 10% administration fee, or HK$100 deduction, whichever is higher.
- Members paying with their BOC HKGCC Visa Card will enjoy a 30% discount on their reservation. The discount is only applicable to the card holder, and does not extend to their guests. The discount cannot be used in conjunction with Chamber Coupons.

- Priority is given to corporate members. The decision to accept or decline any booking shall be at sole discretion of the Chamber.
