Elite Universities Landscape: Practical Tips on Admission
Studying at a top global university in the United States or United Kingdom can help pave the way to career success, not only by giving students a rigorous education but also by helping them broaden their personal and professional networks.
Three experts from Crimson Education -- Fangzhou Jiang, Co-founder and CEO; Xin Er Quek, Director; and Hiu Lam Leung, Academic Advisor – spoke at a Chamber webinar on 11 December about the current landscape for international education and the career opportunities and life outcomes that a university education can open up.
The panelists explained that, despite the political rhetoric in recent years, generally speaking, there has been no sign of change in the desire of the U.S. and U.K. to admit international students. However, securing a place in these countries’ elite institutions is highly competitive. Students should be up-to-date with digital learning, which may help to get ahead of competition.
The event was organized by the Chamber’s Young Executives Club and moderated by YEC Vice-Chairman Elsa Wong.
