Three leaders from Hong Kong’s communications industry spoke at a virtual seminar organized by the Chamber’s Women Executives Club on 19 November, and shared their journeys in the public relations sector.

Members had the opportunity to hear insights from Kate Holgate of Brunswick Group, Clara Shek of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, and Kiri Sinclair of Sinclair, during a panel discussion moderated by WEC Chairman Nikki Ng.

They discussed an array of topics, including how Covid-19 has been both a blessing and a curse to the communications industry, the issues and potential solutions to the gender imbalances in their field, as well as how Hong Kong presents itself as a unique hub for those wanting to break into this dynamic sector.

This event was part of the joint campaign between the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Hong Kong and HKGCC, in support of the HeForShe initiative.
