Two experts from VISA - Andy Yee, Senior Director, Government Relations, Greater China, and Matt Baker, Head of Small and Medium Enterprises Solutions, Asia Pacific - shared their insights into the changes in consumers' payment behaviour and the public view of a cashless society at a roundtable luncheon on 19 September.

They explained that 80% of consumers ranked a digital payment method as their first preferred option, while only 46% of SMEs conduct business through digital channels. Digital transformation, therefore, is needed to fill this gap between what consumers want and what SMEs are currently providing.
