Gustavo Horacio Luis Fazzari, Consul General of the Argentine Republic in Hong Kong, introduced the country’s business and investment environment at a Chamber roundtable luncheon on 13 December. He said there were huge opportunities in Argentina, especially given the agreements signed with Beijing during and after the recent G20 summit. He was joined by Nicolas Aguzin, Chairman and CEO for JP Morgan Asia Pacific, and Diego Gieco, Managing Director for Corium Ltd. They discussed the opportunities and challenges in Argentina, and said investors should be aware of the capital structure, and should also find local partners when planning long-term investment in the country.
