GST: What Business Needs to Know
The maiden budget of the Honourable Henry Tang is the strongest indication yet of the government's commitment to the introduction of a goods and services tax (GST). In designing the GST system for Hong Kong, the government needs to consider a wide range of issues. To explore some of the business issues, HKGCC and KPMG presented a special seminar for business on June 7 on this important topic.
