HKCSI FINANCIAL SERVICES COMMITTEE
TERMS OF REFERENCE
1) Mission
- Under the umbrella of the HKCSI, to act as the think tank for the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce on policy issues related to the financial services sectors of Hong Kong.
2) Membership
- Membership is open to HKCSI/Chamber corporate members in the financial services sectors.
- Chamber individual associate members who wish to apply as observers to the Committee should belong to a company in the financial services sectors.
- Committee membership is subject to agreement by the committee chairman and the Chamber CEO.
- Members should observe the "Guidelines for HKGCC Committees".
3) Objectives
- To monitor the multilateral trade negotiations of the WTO in relation to the trading of financial services.
- To consider and formulate positions on such other issues as the Committee thinks fit, or as directed by the Chamber, in connection with the development and welfare of the financial service industries of Hong Kong.
