THE HKCSI EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

TERMS OF REFERENCE

1) Mission

As the services policy think-tank of the Chamber, to promote the continuing development and competitiveness of Hong Kong's service industries.

2) Membership

Membership is by invitation only, subject to agreement by the HKCSI Chairman and the Chamber CEO. The membership composition will reflect the broad coverage of Hong Kong's service sectors.
Members should observe the "Guidelines for HKGCC Committees".

3) Objectives

To promote the development of a "service friendly environment" in Hong Kong.
To provide a focal point for liaison with Government.
To establish and maintain cooperation between members of Hong Kong's service industries for the purpose of achieving common goals.
To represent the interests of service industries in Hong Kong and to formulate policies and make submissions on behalf of members of the Hong Kong Coalition of Service Industries.
To promote fair, effective and comprehensive international and multilateral rules for trade in service.
To contribute to the opening of the services sectors of the Mainland.
To establish and develop links with counterpart organisations elsewhere.
