Aberdeen and Ap Lei Chau Outline Zoning Plan amended

The Town Planning Board today (June 22) announced amendments to the approved Aberdeen and Ap Lei Chau Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).

The amendments include rezoning of the Wong Chuk Hang Industrial Area along Wong Chuk Hang Road and Heung Yip Road from "Industrial" to "Other Specified Uses" annotated "Business" ("OU(Business)") and rezoning of a small site at Wong Chuk Hang Road from "Open Space" to "Other Specified Uses" annotated "Petrol Filling Station".

The Notes of the OZP have also been amended by incorporating a new set of Notes for the "OU(Business)" zone.

The draft Aberdeen and Ap Lei Chau Outline Zoning Plan No. S/H15/15 incorporating the above amendments is now available for public inspection at the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board and the Hong Kong District Planning Office in North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road; and the Southern District Office in Ocean Court, 3 Aberdeen Praya Road.

Any person affected by the amendments may submit a written objection to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board on or before August 22, 2001.

Copies of the draft plan are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in Yau Ma Tei and North Point.
