This seminar will highlight the major differences when handling commercial claims between Hong Kong and Mainland China, covering the relevant legislation. In addition to the basic knowledge of Chinese bankruptcy laws and Civil Procedure Law of China, the speaker will cover litigation or non-litigation approaches in handling payment delays from Chinese clients, their respective advantages, the time and cost involved, the implementation of the Court's ruling, and the selection of collection agencies or strategies in the non-litigation approach for Hong Kong exporters. The speaker will analyze each option and the corresponding pros and cons with some real case examples.

Tony has over 20 years experience in international account receivable management and debt collections, credit insurance and commercial financing. - Substitution is allowed for corporate members only with advanced notice while walk-ins will normally not be accepted.
