China is undoubtedly a very attractive target market. However, many Hong Kong and overseas enterprises have encountered challenges in understanding the uniqueness of the Mainland China market and consumer behavior as well as developing the appropriate marketing strategy when they promote their brands and products in the country. Marketers who are looking to grasp the huge opportunity in this ever-changing market should consider leveraging big data analytics and visualizing analysis reports to discover market trends and key customer characteristics for enhancing competitiveness.

The Chamber has invited David Ip, General Manager of QS Search Limited (Qihoo 360 International Advertising Unit), to provide some insights on recent consumption trends in the China market, potential opportunities and digital marketing strategy development. Ip's presentation will cover:

Ip has over 19 years of experience in the IT, telecommunications and internet industries. Prior to joining Qihoo 360, he was Vice President of Avira North Asia and was mainly responsible for overseeing the company's business operations and driving its business development in the region. Before that, he headed the Marketing Team for EMC Hong Kong, and also held various regional executive positions in Check Point Software Technology and Stonesoft Corporation. Ip has strong experience in business development and has also served in various regional key business development positions with PCCW Limited. Ip holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from University College London.

Notes - Bookings will only be confirmed with full payment, on a first-come-first-served basis.
- Substitution is allowed for corporate members only with advanced notice while walk-ins will normally not be accepted.
- Please note that the Chamber reserves the right to decline any booking or cancel the event without explanation. In any such instance, the event fee will be returned in full.
- There will be no refund for attendees cancelling or not showing up for the event unless the cancellation request is made in writing at least 3 days before the event, and in such cases the refund will be subjected to a 10% administration fee, or HK$100 deduction, whichever is higher.
- Members paying with their BOC HKGCC Visa Card will enjoy a 30% discount on their reservation. The discount is only applicable to the card holder, and does not extend to their guests. The discount cannot be used in conjunction with Chamber Coupons.
