All indicators suggest that companies remain largely committed to the China market over the long term, said Matthew Margulies, Vice President of China Operations for the U.S.-China Business Council, speaking at the Chamber’s Americas Committee meeting on 27 August. This is despite the challenging conditions, including the growing U.S.-China tensions and the Covid-19 pandemic, which have brought uncertainty into the business environment and clouded companies’ perspectives on the short-term business outlook for China.
