To stimulate the development of the insurance sector, the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC) has relaxed regulations to allow foreign investors to operate more freely and increase their market footprint in the Mainland. At the Chamber webinar on 16 September, Liangliang Graham and Dorothy Lay from BTT Consulting together with Yi Mien Koh from AXA briefed members on the latest policy support for the sector, especially in the GBA, and shared their insights on the development and opportunities of the insurance sector, which has been a bright spot amid the pandemic-driven downturn.
