Translation Officer/Trainee (Two–year renewable contract) |
| Duties |
- Two – year renewable contract
- To perform translation work for Chamber’s magazine, website, press releases, and other Chamber publications and written communications in both English and Chinese;
- Coordinate with different divisions on their translation needs and provide translation services on a commercial basis for Chamber members and non-members;
- To support the PR & Events team in preparing for and executing programs, events and activities and provide administrative support for committee related work if needed.

| Other Requirements |
- Tertiary education or above in translation or related discipline;
- Excellent command of both spoken/written English and Chinese; strong writing and translation skills in both languages are required;
- Must be a team player, hardworking, detail oriented with good interpersonal and computer skills;
- For the Translation Officer post, applicants must have at least 2 years of experience in translation. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Translation Trainee.
